I won this kiting course for 2 persons... so I asked John if he wanted to come. This has been a dream of mine, to try kiting, so I was really exited about it. Found a place in Sweden, Varberg, that was supposedly very good for beginner kiting.
However first we had to "get rid of" the cats... so my dad was the only options. He lived 2,5 hours away... Since we were having to drive to Sweden in any case and I had the week off I suggested we drive a couple of days earlier and see some of Sweden.

We just got home... I am totally fu***d. Stiff, soar and felling terribly old. But it was really great fun. Even though we did not have much sun, I think I might be suffering from sun stroke... I look rather burned in my face, but the sun wasn't out that much. I have a terrible head ache and I can still feel teh ocean washing araound my body.... as I am sitting in the sofa here... very weird. I don't think I have ever stayed in the ocean for this long time, ever!
Very glad to be home... from a very cool event. I would recommend anyone to try it out I managed the whole length of 1m standing on the board... hahaha... John did not get to try the board as he cramped up just before we where starting with that. But he did get to fly 6 m like Superman in the air and crash into the ocean.. yes it did hurt.
